Brasada Ranch

On November 19, 2010, a joint venture comprising Northview Hotel Group and a subsidiary of funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, LP acquired Brasada Ranch through a stock purchase of Jeld-Wen Development, Inc.

Brasada Ranch is a resort community located near Bend, OR. The property included a 4-key luxury Ranch House, 80 independently-owned cabins with lock-offs, 7,000 sf of meeting space, an 18-hole Peter Jacobsen-designed championship golf course, a 17,000 sf fitness facility and kids’ club, an indoor/outdoor equestrian center, and a residential community.  NVHG Management oversees daily operations of all aspects of the Resort on behalf of the joint venture.

Upon acquisition, Northview immediately executed a strategic capital improvement plan focused on re-concepting the F&B outlets, developing the spa, re-configuring the meeting and event spaces, and improving the landscaping, wayfinding, and common spaces within the community.  An additional four keys were added to the main Ranch House bringing the total to 8 to complement the approximately 60 cabins that participate in the Resort’s rental management program, managed by Northview.  Brasada Ranch was re-launched in June 2011 as a premier destination resort in the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on authentic local experiences, outdoor activities, equestrian, golf, and family events.

In February 2016, Northview bought out Oaktree’s position in the deal through a new joint venture.
