Palm Beach Resort

In November 2006, Northview Hotel Group was part of a joint venture that acquired a fee-simple interest in this premier oceanfront location in the US Virgin Islands. At the time of acquisition, the property, formally known as the St. Thomas Renaissance and the Grande Beach Palace Resort, had been closed for just over two years.

The 290-room property was owned and managed by Palace Resorts, prior to which it was operated by Marriott International as the Renaissance Grande Beach Resort. Overlooking St. John Bay at the east end of St. Thomas, the resort featured a private beach and dock, two freshwater pools, two restaurants and bars and a full-service fitness center and spa.

In January 2007, the asset was sold to Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
