Scott Pickert – Senior Vice President – Operations (West)

scott-pickertScott Pickert currently serves as Senior Vice President for Northview Hotel Group, where he oversees  management of all Hospitality, Golf, Homeowners Association Management, Real Estate and Utility Company operations for Northview properties in the Western United States, including the Brasada Ranch and Eagle Crest in Central Oregon, and Madeline Hotel & Residences in Telluride, Colorado.

Mr. Pickert is an accomplished hospitality industry executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of senior-level experience. His resume features management positions with some of the world’s biggest hotel names – including Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Westin properties – as well as extensive business development, branding, operations, and acquisitions experience.

Prior to joining Northview, Mr. Pickert was the Executive Vice President of Leisure Sports, a company that develops and operates upscale, boutique hotels and high-end fitness resorts. During his affiliation, the company developed a unique combination hotel/fitness resort concept, Renaissance ClubSport. The first Renaissance ClubSport opened in November 2002, managed by Leisure Sports under a franchise license and co-branding agreement with Marriott International. Pickert negotiated the company’s brand franchising agreements and brand sale to Marriott International. The company currently owns and operates ClubSport fitness/spa facilities, located in California, Nevada, and Oregon.

For the following three years, Marriott contracted Mr. Pickert to serve as a Senior Vice President to lead integration of the brand into the Marriott Corporate system. He crafted brand strategy, solicited capital partners, and identified new markets for Renaissance ClubSport development.

Prior to working with Leisure Sports, Inc. and Marriott International, Mr. Pickert served in senior management positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at Westin properties in California, Georgia, Texas, and Massachusetts. Under his leadership, he received the corporation’s “Best Overall Hotel Performance” award, posted double-digit RevPAR increases for three consecutive years, completed multi-million dollar facility renovations, and created new food & beverage concepts.

Mr. Pickert earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Denver, specializing in hotel and restaurant management.
