David Zeuske
Executive Vice President/Operations, and President & COO of NVHG Management, LLC
Mr. Zeuske has over 20 years experience in hotel operations. Mr. Zeuske joined Northview Hotel Group in early 2007 and now heads up NVHG’s management company - overseeing hotel operations, sales and marketing, revenue management, finance, human resources and information technology. Mr. Zeuske has overseen the establishment of NVHG’s innovative management systems, including our proprietary web-based financial reporting, performance management and operating standards.
Prior to joining Northview Hotel Group, Mr. Zeuske was Executive Vice President for Tarsadia Hotels, an owner/operator of 17 hotels in California, Arizona, and Nevada, based in Newport Beach, California. Mr. Zeuske joined Tarsadia in 1998 and was responsible for crafting Tarsadia’s management philosophy; developing an environment that was highly revenue and sales driven, and which understood that consistent top-line results are the first step to exceeding the expectations of guests, associates and owners.
While at Tarsadia, Mr. Zeuske used a “brilliant on the basics” approach in conjunction with sophisticated technology to develop systems, tools and processes that enabled the company’s leadership team to operate the company and each of their hotels at a level that maximized their true potential. Under his stewardship, Tarsadia’s management company became a hotel operating company that produced outstanding results, while maintaining a corporate culture that was values driven, collaborative and focused on results.
Prior to joining Tarsadia, Mr. Zeuske was Area Managing Director for Westin Hotels & Resorts - based out of Westin’s 850-room flagship hotel in Seattle and overseeing Washington, Oregon, Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta. Mr. Zeuske started his career with Westin in 1978 at the landmark Benson Hotel in Portland, Oregon while attending high school in Lake Oswego. He subsequently held a number of positions at some of Westin’s more prestigious properties, including Director of Rooms at the Plaza in New York and Manager of the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. During his tenure as General Manager of North America’s tallest hotel, The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, he played a key role in the redevelopment of downtown Atlanta during the preparation for the execution of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Mr. Zeuske has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
